Where are DrTec’s shops in Ajman?
DrTec has two shops in Ajman: 2 Nuaimiya St, Al Nuaimia 2, and City Life, Ground Floor, Al Tallah 2.
What are your opening hours?
Both shops open Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 11 PM, and Sunday from 5 PM to 11 PM.
Do you offer on-site service?
Yes. All DrTec services are available on-site anywhere in the UAE. A call-out fee applies and is quoted when you book.
Do you sell used laptops?
Yes. DrTec sells both new and used computers and laptops. Ask either shop on WhatsApp for current stock.
Is your CCTV installation police-approved?
DrTec’s CCTV installation is approved by Ajman Police and Sharjah Police. We also offer annual maintenance contracts.
What warranty do I get?
Warranty terms depend on the product or service. They are written on your invoice or job card, and used devices carry their own stated warranty.

Do you sell used laptops in Ajman?
Yes. DrTec sells both new and used laptops. Each used device carries its own stated warranty, written on your invoice.
How do I check what is in stock?
Message either shop on WhatsApp or visit us. Stock changes daily, so WhatsApp is the fastest way to check.
Can you set up my new laptop and move my files?
Yes. We can install software and transfer data from your old device as part of our IT services.
Can you install the parts I buy?
Yes. We can fit SSDs, RAM and other parts in-store at either Ajman shop.
Do you build custom PCs?
Yes. Choose your parts with us and we assemble the PC.
How do I check if a part is in stock?
Message either shop on WhatsApp with the part you need.
Will compatible cartridges work in my printer?
Some printers, including certain HP models, can reject non-original cartridges after firmware updates. We check your printer model before you buy.
Which printer brands do you repair?
All major brands, including HP, Canon, Epson and Brother.
Can you repair my office printer on-site?
Yes. On-site service is available anywhere in the UAE. A call-out fee applies and is quoted when you book.
How long can I rent equipment for?
Daily, weekly or monthly. Each event is quoted individually.
Is delivery and setup included?
Yes. We deliver the equipment and set it up for your event.
Do you rent equipment outside Ajman?
Yes. IT rental is available for events across the UAE.

Can you fix a laptop that will not turn on?
Often, yes. We diagnose power and display faults, including motherboard faults that need chip-level repair.
Do you repair desktop computers too?
Yes. We repair laptops and desktop computers, at either shop or on-site.
What is chip-level repair?
Chip-level repair finds and replaces the failed component on a motherboard, instead of replacing the whole board.
Can every motherboard be repaired?
No. Some faults cannot be repaired at chip level. We diagnose the board first and explain your options.
Can you repair a liquid-damaged laptop?
Often, yes. Bring it in as soon as possible and do not try to power it on.
Which phone brands do you repair?
iPhone and all major Android brands.
Can you repair a water-damaged phone?
Often, yes. Turn it off and bring it in as soon as possible. Repair is not always possible after liquid damage.
Will you access my data?
We access only what the repair requires. Back up your phone before your visit if you can.
Which consoles do you repair?
All types, including PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
My console shows no picture. Can you fix it?
A damaged HDMI port is a common cause. We diagnose the console and explain the repair.
Do you repair controllers?
Yes, including stick drift and button faults.
Is data recovery done in-house?
Yes. Your device stays at DrTec while we work on it.
How much does data recovery cost?
A diagnosis fee applies. After diagnosis, we explain what may be recoverable and the cost before we start.
Can you guarantee my data will be recovered?
No one can guarantee recovery. We tell you what is likely to be recoverable after diagnosis.

Is DrTec approved to install CCTV?
Yes. DrTec’s CCTV installation is approved by Ajman Police and Sharjah Police.
Do you offer CCTV maintenance contracts?
Yes. We offer annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for CCTV systems.
Which CCTV brands do you install?
All major brands, including Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Hanwha Vision and Bosch.
Can you fix weak WiFi in my villa or office?
Yes. We survey the space and install WiFi that covers it, including mesh systems.
Do you install firewalls for small businesses?
Yes. We set up firewalls for office networks.
Do you work outside Ajman?
Yes. On-site service is available anywhere in the UAE. A call-out fee applies and is quoted when you book.
Which smart home brands do you install?
Many, including Amazon Alexa, Google Nest, Apple Home, Samsung SmartThings, Philips Hue, Aqara and more.
Will a smart thermostat work with my AC?
It depends on your AC system. We check compatibility before recommending one.
Can you add smart features to my existing home?
Yes. Many smart switches, sensors and lights are designed for existing homes.
Can you connect attendance devices to our payroll software?
Yes, where your software supports device integration. We check this before installation.
Do you install access control for gyms?
Yes. We install membership check-in and door access systems for gyms.
Who is responsible for the biometric data?
Your organisation is responsible for consent and data handling. DrTec supplies, installs and connects the system.
Do you offer monthly IT support for small businesses?
Yes. We offer ongoing IT support under an annual maintenance contract.
Can you speed up my old laptop?
Often, yes. An SSD or RAM upgrade can make an older machine much faster.
Can you set up computers at our office?
Yes. On-site service is available anywhere in the UAE.
Do you build eCommerce websites?
Yes. We design and build online stores.
Can you maintain our existing website?
Yes. We offer website maintenance, including updates and fixes.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on what you need. Tell us about your project and we will send a quote.
Can you guarantee first place on Google?
No. No one can guarantee search rankings. We agree goals with you and report on progress.
Do you manage Google Ads?
